Ilkeston Hospital Dining Room
AJ Group Derby Ltd are proud to look after Derbyshire Community Health Services flooring and painting refurbishments, and have been on their approved suppliers list for a number of years.
In March 2023 AJ Group Derby Ltd completed the refurbishment of Ilkeston Hospital Dining Room. AJ Painting and Decorating and AJ Floorcraft worked together to transform this space into a modern clean dining hall for everyone to enjoy.
AJ Painting and Decorating used Armstead Eggshell in Wishbone White for the main walls, Armstead Eggshell in Hebridean Mist 3 for the feature wall. For the woodwork we used Armstead Gloss White.
AJ Floorcraft then set about removing the old floorcovering. We prepared the floor with smoothing compound, a very important step in the process to ensure an even surface to apply the vinyl.
Tarkett Wood Effect vinyl flooring in Traditional Oak Grey White was then installed on top of the newly screeded floor fixed with manufacturer approved adhesive and sealed with matching weld and clear silicone to the perimeters.
We pride ourselves on being able to turn around a renovation such as this quickly and efficiently so as not to disrupt the working environment too much. As AJ Painting and Decorating and AJ Floorcraft work together on projects, we can seamlessly organise the works to ensure there are no delays.
